Being direct-employees means continuity of care and facilitates a "family" atmosphere. The home has a comprehensive training programme and a high proportion of its staff have achieved NVQ qualifications.

Ann Howe RGN

General Manager

Ann is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience and holds the Registered Managers Award (RMA)   During her career in the care sector Ann has worked as a Unit Manager, Deputy Manager and for the last few years as a Home Manager for a large nursing home.  Ann is qualified in tissue viability, palliative care and holds a certificate in mentorship for adaptation nurses.  Ann is committed to staff development via internal and external training to ensure a holistic approach to resident’s care.

Wendy Anderson

Manager of the Nursing Care Unit

Wendy Anderson RGN has many years experience of looking after older people. She has achieved the Registered Manager’s and A1 Assessor awards and leads her team to deliver the highest standards of care.

Maxine Turner RGN

Manager of the Care Suites

Maxine Turner RGN has over thirty years experience and has worked as a Senior Staff Nurse and Ward Sister on medical and surgical units in both the public and private sectors. Specialising in care for the elderly Maxine and her team pride themselves on making a difference for the residents in their care.

Alina Cioc

Manager of the Dementia Unit

Alina Cioc RGN holds a Masters Degree in general nursing. In addition Alina is a tissue viability specialist with over 15 years experience of working within various areas of the care sector looking after elderly people.

Louise Frampton

Sales Co-ordinator

Finding the right Nursing Home can sometimes prove to be a daunting prospect.  Louise is on hand to guide family members and friends through the various stages from  the initial viewing of the home through to the date of admission.  Providing information and guidance relating to the admission procedure ensures a smooth transition for new residents whether coming from home or hospitals.

Vivienne Littlechild

Social Co-Ordinator

Viv has over 30 years experience within the care sector and holds the Registered Managers Award and NVQ Level 2 and 4 in care.  She also has specialist training in dementia and palliative care.  Her aim is to build relationships with residents and families and provide a stimulating environment where the individuals social needs compliment their care needs.

Marta Woszczyk

Financial Administrator

Marta holds a Master Degree of Financial Management and she is currently studying for her AAT Level 3 Diplomain accounting in K College in Tonbridge. She has worked in the banking and accounting sector prior to joining us in Cornford House in March 2013. She now looks after all the accounts for the home and liaises with relatives on financial matters.

Anita Beaney

Head Chef

Anita is the head chef at Cornford House and enjoys catering for individual needs which are devised inconjunction with the residents to provide a healthy nutritional diet. Anita has achieved her intermediate certificate in Hospitality and Catering and is keen to develop her skills further with ongoing training.
