All the staff that work in the home are direct-employees

Being direct-employees means continuity of care and facilitates a "family" atmosphere. The home has a comprehensive training programme and a high proportion of its staff have achieved NVQ qualifications.

Alina Cioc Manager of the Dementia Unit Alina Cioc RGN holds a Masters Degree in general nursing. In addition Alina is a tissue viability specialist with over 15 years experience of working within various areas of the care sector looking after elderly people.

Wendy Anderson Manager of the Nursing Care Unit Wendy Anderson RGN has many years experience of looking after older people. She has achieved the Registered Manager’s and A1 Assessor awards and leads her team to deliver the highest standards of care.

Jane Bell Manager of the Nursing Care Suites Jane Bell RGN manages the Nursing Care Suites at Cornford House.  She has been involved in the care of older people for many years.

Angela Peirce Senior Care Assistant Angela has been at Cornford House for six years during which time she has undertaken training to achieve NVQ level 2 and 3.

Paul Vidler Financial Administrator Paul has worked at Cornford House for five years. He looks after all the accounts for the home and liaises with relatives on financial matters.

Angie Hill Team Leader Angie has been at Cornford House for five years. Whilst at the Home she has undertaken training to achieve NVQ level 3.

Jackie Presnell Head Chef Jackie has been working at Cornford House for seventeen years. She is qualified to City & Guilds 706/1 and 2. She enjoys catering for individual tastes and requirements.

Fleur Parratt Social Co-ordinator & Hostess When a resident arrives at Cornford House Fleur will discuss with them their own personal needs for an active social life.
